Heal, Grow, Thrive.
No experience, no referral required.
a space to HEAL.
Compassionate care in a safe space.
The world can be an overwhelming and scary place. At Toronto Art Therapy Space, we offer the healing power of art therapy in a compassionate and nonjudgmental space.
At TATS, you can safely explore and express difficult emotions through creative mediums like drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, and more. We can talk and process, or we can let the art speak for itself.
This unique approach empowers you to externalize inner pain, gain perspective, and engage in self-discovery without the pressure of verbal expression. That said, talk therapy is always an option. We are trained therapists.
*NO ART EXPERIENCE OR REFERRAL REQUIRED*
By engaging with art materials, people are encouraged to externalize complex feelings and unconscious conflicts, allowing those feelings to be safely observed and processed.
Art therapy helps people grow by fostering emotional resilience, promoting self-acceptance, and providing a dynamic means to integrate challenging experiences into a coherent, more functional sense of self.

We are also aware of how the world, our environments, and systemic structures can create mental despair. We can support you, however hard the world is hitting you.
